Mr Vinci Wong the Chairman of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, received the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification from Mr Michael Lam, the Chief Operating Officer, Assurance, BSI APAC on 26 February 2019.
Tung Wah Group of Hospital is the first hospital in Hong Kong in achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its information technology branch. Mr Lam commented that cyber attack, data breach and unplanned IT & telecom outages are 3 of the top 10 risks for corporate. Achieving the certification show that the management systems of Tung Wah complies with the international standards.
